Setting up OpenCV on Windows with VS2010

Follow the steps below to set up OpenCV libraries for Visual Studio 2010 in Windows:
1. Download OpenCV 2.4.3 and install it in folder C:\opencv243 
 
2. Download the lane tracker library file ldalgo.lib and save it C:\lanelib
 
3. Create a project with the following properties
 
VC++ Directories > Include Directories
C:\opencv243\build\include\opencv;C:\opencv243\build\include;
 
VC++ Directories > Library Directories
C:\opencv243\build\x86\vc10;
 
C/C++ > General > Additional Include Directories
C:\opencv243\build\include
 
Linker > General > Additional Library Directories OR Librarian > General > Additional Library Directories
C:\opencv243\build\x86\vc10\bin;C:\opencv243\build\x86\vc10\lib
 
 
Linker > Input > Additional Dependencies OR Librarian > Input > Additional Dependencies
opencv_core243d.lib
opencv_highgui243d.lib
opencv_imgproc243d.lib
opencv_video243d.lib
opencv_ml243d.lib
opencv_calib3d243d.lib
<you could include all other libraries>
 
4. Add the source file main.cpp in the project.
 
5. Compile and run.
